MTS Euro Products is a full-range hygiene supplier. Founded in 1991, it now supplies wholesalers in 37 countries with hygiene paper, non-wovens, dispensers, and wiping rags, from more than 2,500 items in stock to tailor-made options. Its products are used in facility services, industry, food, retail and packaging, and medical care.
The company runs a best-of-breed IT landscape: it chooses a specialist system for each job, from B2B e-commerce to CRM. Keeping those systems connected without making each one depend on the next is where Alumio comes in.
Before Alumio, Euro Products ran most of its business in its ERP, with few other applications connected to it. That changed when the company introduced CloudSuite as its B2B e-commerce platform and planned to add a CRM and automated Power BI reporting. Linking each new system directly to the ERP would have created a web of dependencies between them. Euro Products also had order rules that neither the ERP nor the webshop could handle as standard, and its Power BI reports still relied on data the team supplied by hand.
The company built a business case and compared several middleware platforms. It chose the Alumio integration platform because it is open and accessible to multiple users and scales well. Euro Products also valued that Alumio delivers the integration platform along with the support its team needs to build integrations itself, or with a partner of its choice. It also appreciated Alumio's Dutch-speaking customer success and support teams, which make it easier for its team to coordinate.

Euro Products uses the Alumio integration platform as the hub between its ERP and the systems around it: CloudSuite for B2B e-commerce, SuperOffice for CRM, a custom-built product information management (PIM) system, and Power BI for reporting. Rather than linking each system to the ERP, every connection runs through Alumio, which transforms the data and routes it according to Euro Products' own business rules. Three integration flows show how this works in practice:
The next step on Euro Products' integration roadmap is to route its EDI flows to the ERP through Alumio.
Euro Products had no previous experience with middleware and was launching CloudSuite as its new B2B e-commerce platform at the same time. An integration partner built the first integrations in Alumio, and the Euro Products team stayed closely involved so it understood what was built and why.
“When you are new to middleware, you are very dependent on your external integration partner at first. The longer you work with Alumio, the more you can take into your own hands, and the less dependent you become.”

The implementation required close coordination between the different platforms and partners, while further improving data quality to support the new digital landscape. Alumio provides clear visibility into integration flows, enabling the team to quickly identify where attention is needed and take the appropriate action across workflows, systems, and data.
Today, Euro Products' internal team builds and maintains some API connections, handles first-line support, and adjusts flows when failures appear. Max uses the dashboard to follow all flows and plan the integration roadmap. Happy Horizon, the company's current integration partner, advises the team and will help build new connections in the next phase.
Adding a new system or changing partner no longer means redesigning the integration architecture. For Euro Products, this was never about reducing headcount, but about scaling and moving people to customer-facing work.
Max's advice to other B2B companies: an integration platform takes real expertise, so build knowledge in-house or work with an experienced partner.
